Application

Don’t rush it, as 50% of our pre-screening is based on how you fill it out, so treat it as if it were your first impression.

We're looking for people who are actively job-seeking, can work in the EU, and ideally speak German (it meaningfully increases your chances). Also being open to relocation helps!

Beyond the basics, here's what actually gets you in: an outlier profile.

We're not looking for the most polished CV in the room (even though the formatting helps), we're looking for previous startup experiences, or a founder background, or just a track record of doing things, not just being part of things.

Before you apply, ask yourself two questions: why should we pick you over everyone else, and what's your most impressive achievement? If you have sharp answers to both, you're probably who we're looking for.

Interview

If you've made it here, we already think you're interesting!

But this is your chance to show us who you actually are.

You'll speak with someone from the team, most likely Dominik (our founder) or Cesca (Founder's Associate). We won’t give you case studies, or problem-solving exercises.

We want to know what drives you, how you work, what you're looking for, and where you're headed. What we're paying attention to: whether you can have a conversation with energy and direction, if you're curious and if you have a structured point of view on things.

We're not looking for perfect answers, so come prepared, but don't over-rehearse (it usually lowers the performance for this kind of interview).

Onboarding & Participation

You'll get access to three things:

  • Weekly pitches: every week, 2 or more companies come in and pitch live (you’ll receive an email every monday so check your inbox). You ask questions, get a feel for the team and the role, and if something clicks you let us know. We send them your profile, and if you match you've got yourself an interview.
  • Slack community: connect with other candidates, stay in the loop, and get access to the events we run for the community: AMA sessions, workshops, webinars, and more.
  • Notion database: here you can browse all the open positions remaining from the previous pitches: go at your own pace, let us know if anything interests you, and we'll take it from there.

Usually your application will be reviewed in max 2 days, and you'll know if you've been accepted into the next stage. If accepted, you'll receive an email where you can schedule the interview. We usually do our selection on thursdays, so you'll know by max 1 week!

Most candidates get their first intro within a few days of acceptance. Average offer time ranges from 8 days to 3 months – depending on your profile, preferences, and speed.

In 2025, we had roughly ~100 startups with an average of 1.5 positions pitch. Expect 2026 to have an even higher density.

Venture backed startups grow year-round, so they hire year round. Hiring cycles aren't necessarily aligned with the calendar.
